Booking Terms and Conditions

Deposits
To confirm your registration Blackaby's Sea Kayaks and Tours must receive your deposit with your registration and assumption of risk form. Deposits, per person, are based on tour prices:

  • Trip price of $0 to $75 = full payment of tour
  • Trip price of $75 to $300 = deposit of $75
  • Trip price of $300 to $450 = deposit of $100
  • Trip price of $450 to $1000 = deposit of $200
  • Trip price of $1000 and up = deposit of $250

Cancellation Policy
We regret the receipt of a cancellation. Nevertheless, a sizable portion of the trip costs are already committed well in advance of your impending departure. Cancellations received in advance are subject to the following:

  • more than 21 days prior to trip departure - Full refund less deposit;
  • between 7 and 21 days - 50% refund of trip price;
  • less than 7 days - 100% of trip price withheld.

Reservations and payments
Blackaby's Sea Kayaks and Tours will confirm reservations upon receipt of completed trip registration and assumption of risk forms, and trip deposit fee. The balance of the trip must be received at least 14 days prior to trip departure (45 days for group bookings of 6 or more) and if payment is not received, we reserve the right to treat the reservation as canceled. Also, no guests will be allowed to depart on a tour until all payments and forms have been received by Blackaby's Sea Kayaks and Tours.
Accommodation
Accommodation on multi-day tours is based on shared occupancy for B&B rooms and tents. If you are coming on the trip alone we will match you with another guest of the same sex. Single occupancy surcharges may apply on some tours.
Canceled Trips
 We reserve the right to make any changes to the trip dates, itineraries or costs without notice. Due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient numbers we have the right to cancel a tour. If we cancel the trip, you will be notified as soon as possible and have the choice of transferring to another trip or receiving a full refund.
Insurance
We recommend all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance which covers you in the event of an unexpected cancellation, your baggage, and emergency evacuation and extended medical.
